Our Story
Afrosport evolved from Optima Sports Management International (OSMi), a pioneering organisation that helped shape free-to-air sports broadcasting across Sub-Saharan Africa. Since 1999, the team behind Afrosport has played a key role in distributing some of the world’s biggest sporting properties throughout Africa, including: English Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FIFA World Cup, African Cup of Nations, Serie A, and Bundesliga across more than 40 African countries.
Today, Afrosport combines this heritage with modern digital streaming technology, content production and sports storytelling to create a platform designed to inform, inspire, entertain and engage sports fans across Africa and around the world.
